Bio:

we all do our dayjobs and got bands a lil' less insane than this . we got together to play louder and faster than on our other bands and overcome the very non-tropical boredom of a stressful existence in são paulo (brazil). we did some very low fi live recordings. to our surprise, most of it worked out very fine. so we decided to share our songs with the big world outside, so we could get very agressive negative reviews, lose some of our friends and leave a trail of deaf kids behind us on our live shows. now we are on the process of turning the raw petrol of our original performances on refined high performance gasoline, so that the whole of you people can drink it and die choking. but with style. wait for your cup, it will come earlier than you think... ..

"Orange Disaster are a Noise Punk band from São Caetano do Sul, Brazil but have a sound that would fit right at home in Detroit right along side Iggy & The Stooges, MC5 and other assorted garage rock bands. that's not to say they are carbon copies of the aforementioned groups. no, whether it's intentional or not (i'm guessing not) there's also a smattering of sonic experimentation a la Wire and a manic vocal delivery akin to The Boredoms. Although the material provided on this demo is in raw form with a late 70's early 80's production value i feel the sound is appropriate for O.D. as they embody the spirit of early punk rock before the genre was infiltrated by bubble gum chewing, mascara wearing, eMpTyV star driven 'american idiots'.
Punk Rock is alive and well oddly enough in a region of Brazil few of us have ever heard of. check them out and if you can be bothered leave a comment. ." The Miserablist (USA)
