    The Weird Blend defines itself as a blend of musical styles, getting its roots from the heavy metal. They started in March 2009 with Helder Madureira on the drums and Francisco on the bass guitar. Later on Nelson Vaz joined the band as the lead guitarist and, Helder Ferreira on the guitar and Rui Reis as the singer. After composing some music, always thrash/death metal style music, several concerts followed. In November 2010 they started the recording of the EP on the Sound Vision studios in Vila do Conde, not far from Porto. In May 2011 Helder Ferreira left the band being replaced by André Ribeiro, who made his first debut on the 23 July in the festival "Santo Rock" in Fafe, north Porto. Now the band is preparing the release of the EP, getting a new start/restart of the quintet from Vila Nova de Gaia/Porto and arranging new concerts to participate whenever they are invited.
