    Hey everybody.

I know this is long overdue, but here we go:

So much have happened since last. Antfarm Studio is now Studios. The old studio dwonstairs is still active, now occupied by my Assistant Jacob Olsen and as some might have heard, I have converted my pool to drum room. It sounds amazing! If you want to check it for yourself, go check out the new Heaven Shall Burn album. The drums were recorded here, and speaking of which album; It is getting rave reviews topping the soundcheck in both Metal Hammer and Rockhard! And speaking of new albums I have to say: Go check out all the records on my Disco 2010 page. Every single album there is just amazing in its own right. Witchery is all the metalgods I grew up listening to (Gary Holt, Kerry King, Hank Sherman, Andy LaRogue etc) and a massive killer of an album too. Engel is the most commercial yet heavy album. Mantric (former Extol members) is the best in progressive the oldschool way. The Haunted and At The Gates dvds are great and Anders is making great documentaries... Sick Of It All delivers the ultimate in NYHC as always!!!!! Everybody who needs a lesson from these guys... Me too, hehe. Die is fast deathmetal at its best.

Which brings me to the odd one out here... Nevergreen. See here is an old friend of mine who used to be the best thrashmetal drummer in the world, but sadly he left my band to be a singer... This is about 20 years ago or so, yeah getting old and all that... Years later he turned popstar in Russia and now he is representing Denmark in the Eurovision songcontest in Oslo. You all have to vote for him!!! This is the important thing in this blog. It iwll be almost like voting for Lordi! Remember.

A danish movie about danish soldiers in Afghanistan called Armadillo is getting a lot of attention these days in Cannes, and my boys in Mugshot have a couple of songs in the movie. I can't wait to see it.

Right now I just finished Davidian from Germany and their new album. We did it all here at the farm... and in the pool. It sounds keelar!.. I also had to spend a couple of days in Copenhagen to help out the reunited Attitude Adjustment with Chris Kontos on drums. That was a blast! True Hardcore. This is going to be a Raw f**king record.
I started the mix of the new Kataklysm album a couple of days ago. This new one is going to top them all!
After that it's time for Figure of 6 and then Cataract is coming back to do a new album. I am really looking forward to that.
Also [AMATORY] from Russia is getting ready to do a new album this summer. Daniel is coming to Denmark to do the drums here. I can't wait, he is an amazing drummer.

    Till next time....

    Hello Ev'rybody!
It's a new year and time for some truly great albums to be released:
    MnemicDark TranquilllityMantric... Frightening...
I just came home from the anual DMeA (Danish Metal Awards). Hatesphere ran with album of the year and Super Charger got the best debut album. Very nice indeed!
Last year ended in fine style with November going to Sick Of It All. They came to Copenhagen where we recorded the whole album and did most of the mixing too. Once again a classic hardcore album in the box. And this is what a finished album looks like:
In december we did the drums for the new Heaven Shall Burn here at the Antfarm in the pool!!! Yes that's right, boys and girls. We recorded the drums in my swimmingpool. It sounds awesome.
They brought everything home to finish the recordings in Germany and then I will see Maik and Alex again next week for the mix. Looking forward to it. The new songs sound very much like HSB, but at the same time I think there are new elements in their music. It's going to be exciting to hear the end result.
Before The Fall from Austria have been taking up my time as well lately for the mix of their new album. Expect some heavy shit from these guys.

    Current mood:excited

    Hi there y'all.
Its' been a looong time since I last  updated this site, I am sorry but take it as a good sign of me being busy making music for you all.

I just finished the mixes for the new Mnemic album. I am really really excited about this one. It will show you a more mature band with better songwriting skills than ever. Heavy moody songs all over. The response to the songs so far from label and the few press people who have heard it so far have been overwhelming. Be affraid, Muhahaha...

At the same time I am also sort of working on the new Dark Tranquillity album. Sort of because I helped with the set up and they are presently recording the album in Sweden without me. Now I started the mix of the album, and so far the songs  I have heard sound very very cool. Don't forget the live DVD from Milan which is just about to hit the shops now... which I mixed... Great show!

This summer was spent around Europe. First I was in Italy tracking drums, bass and guitars for Figure Of 6 at Fear studio. I am going to do the mix later this year when they have finished doing the synthstuff and vocals.

Right after that I was in Spain to re-record the first album of Spanish band Soziedad Alkoholika in Music Lan studio a little north of Barcelona. That was the nicest album to work on. Great rooms, great equipment, great people, great food, swimmingpool, sunshine... and good music of course ;-).
I also mixed a few live songs for a DVD release by this band. I am looking forward to repeating the experince next year when it's time for the real new album.

Mantric have inked a deal with Prosthetic records. It makes me very happy to see. You all have to go out and get this album! For those who don't know, this is what rose from the ashes after Extol split up and it is quite simply greatness! go out and get it! That is an order, dude!!

Supercharger is a danish band playing RnR  have released their debut album produced by me. It's a great party record for sure!

Vader and Winds Of Plague put out new albums recently both mixed and mastered by yours truly.

Next month I will go to Copenhagen to record the new Sick Of It All album. The demos already sound good. That is going to be great.

    News
    March 8th 2009

Hello there. Lots of things have happened since last.
Right about now you will be able to hear a new album from HateSphere with the whole new line up. It's killer I have to say. The new Ektomorf album is causing people to talk already. We really came up with a new approach to Ektomorf this time. Think AC/DC and Boney M... Big phat sounds heavier and deeper than ever before. We are very proud of it and hope you will all enjoy.
Earth Crisis is coming out in a second as well, sounding very fresh. exciting times...

My old friend Alxxx, former singer of my old band, Grope has a new album out with his band Monstah. It is in danish(!!) and its great. Check it out.

I have been getting busy with the new Engel album for a while as well. I can't wait for that one to be unleashed on the world, but right now we are not sure exactly when it is coming out. Those of you who have been following me for years will know that I have been doing stuff with these guys for years and it feels so good to finally do the album we always wanted to do with each other.

I have been working on a few Live DVDs mixing in 5.1 surround. Dark Tranquillity recorded in Milan and Heaven Shall Burn recorded in Vienna. Great amazing crowds at both shows. Truly amazing. Cant wait to see it with the edited pictures.

For the past 4 weeks I (or that should maybe be [AMATORY]) have been number one on the biggest Ruassian rock radio station. Outside of Russia you pprobably never heard of them, but over there they are huge. Amazing band!

I would like to also mention some friends of mine who make some outstanding pedals. Emma Electronic have come up with an overdrive pedal to end all tube screamers. Together with my old Marshall Master volume that I got back after living without it for more than a decade, it is pure art! But it also works wonders to all my other amps getting that gain and tone just right. It's called Stinkbug. Go get it.

Right now I am mixing a band called Mantric which features ex-membersof Extol, meaning: excellent music!!!! You better check up on them. This stuff is truly greatness.
