I am sending this message on behalf of my daughter.  Her name is Priya - she is 6 and a half years old.  When she was 2 years old I started playing your CD New Beginning at her bedtime.  She has been listening to you nearly every night since.
I have tried to get her to listen to other artists at bedtime - but she always requests Tracy Chapman as her first choice when she goes to sleep at night.
We love your music - I love the lyrics and the stories.  Your voice is so powerful and soothing to the soul.
Hopefully one day we might be able to see you perform live.
