  • Biografia

    Tamsin M began her professional singing career at the age of 10, working as a voice over artist and performing in a number of stage productions and musicals with The Performing Arts Workshop. She relocated to Cape Town where she continued her voice training and then left for the U.S. to continue her tertiary education and graduated from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles with a four year Bachelors degree in Communication and Fine Arts. After graduating, Tamsin M succeeded as a Producer/Director, completing a number of music videos, documentaries and notable short features which had screenings at festivals such as Cannes, Fespaco, Toronto and Berlin. All along she maintained her passion for music. She is also lead vocalist on the Prankster "Lay Me Down" album, nominated for a SAMA "Best Alternative Album" award 2011. In addition to this, she is collaborating with a number of notable European and US Electro Producers under the artist name CIRCE, with a # 4 on the German Dance Charts earlier this year. Aside from Tamsin's singing and directing career, Tamsin M has appeared in the television series "Charlie Jade", the U.S. feature film, "Slipstream" directed by David van Eyssen starring Sean Astin and Vinnie Jones as well as "Kingdom in Twilight" directed by Uli Edel. She has also appeared opposite Peter Fonda in the Hallmark mini-series, "Super Nova", as well as "The Triangle" and "The Librarian 2" with Noah Wyley. She can soon be seen as "Renault" in the mini-series "Lost City Raiders". Most recently Tamsin M Co-Produced, Adapted, Directed and starred as "Athena" in "The Experimental Witch " as part of Paulo Coelho's The Experimental Witch Project. This revolutionary, global initiative enjoyed its premiere at The International Rome Film Festival. She is singer/songwriter, actor and film maker... and it is her passion as a storyteller that lives through all these mediums. Her debut solo album "Verdict to Roam" captures a deep intensity and often hard hitting intimacy that human relationships evoke and inspire in us. It is a diary of love and certainly tells a story of hope, loss and liberation we all can relate to...
