  • Biografia

    Stillbirth was founded in 1999 by Lukas Swiaczny (Guitar, Vocals) and Phillipp Kurschus(Drums). Since the beginning the band played live shows in Germany. In 2003 STILLBIRTH recorded their first Demo CD „HAPPY STILLBIRTHDAY PARTY". After some member rotations between 2004-2007 STLLBIRTH recorded a 4 Track EP, which was released on the 4-Way-Split-Cds "Supreme Brutal Legions #3" (Vrykoblast Recs./ Singapore) and "Soldiers of Death" ( Deathstar Recs./ USA) in the year 2008. 2009 was the year for STILLBIRTH's first full length Album "Plakative Aggression" (Rotten Roll Rex/ Germany) and the bands first Eastern-Europe Tour in April 2009. After even more shows across Europe and member rotations during 2009-2010, STILLBIRTH recorded their second Album "ENDGAME IS NEAR". Which was self-released by the band in 2011, followed by festival shows like the DEATHFEAST OPEN AIR or the NRW DEATHFEST. And their first US TOUR including the NEW JERSEY DEATHFEST and more shows in Germany In 2012 STILLBIRTH will head straight foward with 6 band members. Kevin Piepenburg joined the band as a vocalist which will replace the vocals of guitarist Lukass Swiaczny, who is still part of the Band. Band Members: Dominik "Pumpa" König - Bass, Vocals Lukas Swiaczny - Guitar Jan Wiedemann - Guitar Matthias Scholz - Vocals Kevin Piepenburg - Vocals Andree Kress - Drums Stillbirth shared the Stage with Bands like Amagortis, Blood Duster, Beheaded, Condemned, Cliteater, Cripple Bastards,Dehumanized,, Distorted Impalement, Digested Flesh, Dehumanized, Dismember, Embraced by Hatred, Exhumed, Gut, Impaled, Insidious Decrepancy, Internal Bleeding, Jack Slater, Jungle Rot, Krisiun, Maligniant Tumour, Machetazo, Neuropathia, Rompeprop, Unleashed, Unmercyful, Vader, Waking the Cadaver and many more... ..in Countries like Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Germany, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Switzlerland, The Netherlands, USA and more to come. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1UxWLa_vAxE
