PLEIMO.com is much more than a simple sales tool: we’re a company of true musicians and music lovers.

PLEIMO.com is a philosophy, a different perspective on the new reality that the digital revolution has imposed on the music market. We have studied all the difficulties and obstacles we have faced throughout our career and we have decided to share our new method with everyone who dreams about making their talent their way of life.

In the past few years, the free distribution of MP3 files has become the essential way for budding artists to get themselves known. We think that this has happened because there was no tool that offered the possibility of selling MP3 files, videos or performances by artists directly to end consumers.

Our research has led us to the conclusion that selling digital music is incredibly beneficial for artists, consumers and the planet. Most people have stopped buying CDs, but they all have MP3 players and mobile telephones. In addition, more and more car sound systems are compatible with the MP3 format. These factors and many others have made the CD obsolete.

This creates a new possibility: artists do not have to record a whole album, which would contain 15 tracks for example, to start receiving profits; they can work on singles and sell every new track they make. Now artists are not obligated to make an investment to produce a CD, as they can sell their work, hot off the turntables, directly to the end consumer. This also shows a respectful attitude towards the environment, as their music will not be bound in a plastic case, which would take an average of 100 years to decompose.

When they sell their work on PLEIMO.com, artists are paid fairly, as they receive more than 50% of the profit, a percentage that is much higher than the rate given on the current market, which varies from 9% to 12%. Artists own 100% of their rights on their work on PLEIMO.com. Artists will be able to use new tools that will help them to get their career on track. They’ll be able to view detailed statistics on their sales and performances, as well as graphs that show in great detail indices broken down by their most successful works, age, gender, city or country of their consumers, which will let them easily organise their list of gigs and guide future productions.

Our project aims to bring independent artists and their main target audience closer together. Consequently, we will help them to raise awareness of their work and to receive the corresponding compensation, which creates an added value for their music and other varied products.

PLEIMO.com’s philosophy is to make it possible for all groups and artists to gain a business perspective on their work and to make profit from their musical talent, with which they can generate a means of support for their careers.

We have developed a platform where artists of any genre can make their musical productions available to consumers.

We are not against record companies, but in favour of big talents who want to create a niche for themselves. Artists do not have any kind of exclusivity agreement with Pleimo.com, which makes it a showcase arena that record companies can check out.
