Aiming to create a unique material that could cause different perceptions in the audience, the musicians of PERC3PTION used intuition to develop their compositions from their personal tastes and influences. Strolling through the Prog and Power Metal with the same intensity, the intention was to incorporate melody and weight, without forgetting the feeling and technique.

Thus arose Reason And Faith, the band's debut album released in 2013 for MS Metal Records, distributed by Voice Music. The material, which addresses obscure and controversial issues, notably the conflict between reason and faith, was recorded at Norcal Studios (São Paulo -Brazil). Production was handled by Edu Falaschi (Almah, Ex-Angra) and co-production Brendan Duffey and Adriano Daga.

Currently Rick Leite (guitar and vocals), Glauco Barros (guitar and vocals), Wellington Consoli (bass) and Peferson Mendes (drums) have been promoting Reason And Faith and ending mastering of the new album entitled Once And For All that will have the premiere of Dan Figueiredo on vocals. The production of the second album is in charge of Glauco Barros (guitar), has a co-production of EduFalaschi (Almah, Ex-Angra), mixing and mastering by Glauco Barros and Rodrigo Ninrod, and is expected to release in the first half of 2016.

The band has participated in many festivals and concerts showing their sounds, highlighting performances alongside bands like Pain Of Salvation, Amorphis, Evergrey, Almah, Andre Matos, MindFlow and Shadowside.
