Pavilhão 9 is a gangsta rap group that also plays hardcore rock, using bass, guitar, and drums along with voice and scratches.
Formed in the impoverished outskirts of the city of São Paulo SP, they connected with the universe of people in the same condition, having hits like "Mandando Bronca," "Otários Fardados," "Opalão Preto," and "Apaga o Baseado." After their first album, Primeiro Ato, they recorded three more through Paradoxx, including Reação (2001), their first through Warner Music.
