Em junho de 2001 amigos de longa data decidem formar uma banda de Heavy Metal baseada nas fundações clássicas do estilo, calcada em nomes como Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Rainbow, Dio, Running Wild etc..... dando forma ao embrião que mais tarde se tornaria o Odisséia, nome inspirado na epopéia grega vivida por Ulisses e narrada por Homero no livro A Odisséia. Abordando temas de cunho histórico, social, cotidiano ou até mesmo medieval e filosófico sem esquecer tambêm das noitadas, bebedeiras e odes ao metal é claro, Após alguns problemas de formação o Odisséia entrou em estudio no ano de 2005 registrando sua primeira demo com 5 musicas que mesmo não contendo uma produção perfeita teve uma excelente aprovação por parte do publico Headbanger local, abrindo caminho para que fossem marcados novos shows e uma boa divulgação pelo estado, mas a saida de outros membros fez com que a banda entrasse em um longo periodo de hibernação que chegou ao fim com a continuidade da seguinte formação: Gleison Maest: Vocal, JP Zampiere: Guitarra e Baixo, Dimas Correa: Bateria, lançando uma nova demo em 2010 e o album de estréia em 2011, com a entrada de F.Cesar assumindo o Contra-Baixo e Freddy Daniels na 2ª Guitarra, a banda volta aos palcos e segue em frente com a bandeira do metal em punho. ............................................................................................................................................................................. In June 2001, longstanding friends decided to form a Heavy Metal band based on the foundations of classical style, influenced by Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Rainbow, Dio, Running Wild etc... giving way to the embryo that later became the Odisséia, a name inspired by the Greek epic lived by Ulysses and narrated by Homero in the book The Odyssey, addressing issues of stamp historical, social, daily and even medieval and Philosophy, while also of clear nights, drinking and Odes to the metal, after some internal differences there was an exchange of members and the Odisséia enters in studio in 2005 and record their first demo with 5 songs, not a perfect production but had an excellent approval from the local public Headbanger, paving the way they were marked for new shows and a good advertisement for the band in local state, but the output of other members has made the band get into a long period of hibernation that ended with the following continuing formation: Gleison Maest: Vocals, JP Zampiere: Guitars and Bass, Dimas Correa: Drums, entering in the year 2010 by launching a new demo and debut album in 2011, after the period of recording, the new member F.Cesar takes over the bass and Freddy Daniels in 2º Guitar, the band back on stage and move on with the flag of the metal in hand. .............................................................................................................................................................................
