    Nancy Tunick is a Nashville, TN based cantorial soloist and composer who has served congregations in Philadelphia, PA; Meridian, MS; Jacksonville, FL and currently in Florence, AL at Temple B’nai Israel. Nancy is a graduate of Temple University with a B.M. in Voice Performance. She began her music career in broadcasting as an on-air personality and music director in various formats of radio including urban, classical, jazz and country. Nancy then moved to Nashville where she served as National Promotion Director of Asylum Records, successfully promoting an artist roster that included Bryan White, Kevin Sharp, Emmylou Harris and George Jones. She then served as Vice President of Promotion at VFR Records, where she scored the first top ten single for a new independent country artist in more than thirty years. She most recently served as Vice President of Promotion at Warner Bros. Records Nashville, where she led the team that promoted Big & Rich's first career number one single and James Otto's label debut that became the most played song of 2008 in addition to celebrating successes with projects from Blake Shelton, Faith Hill, Point of Grace and Randy Travis. Nancy is currently co-owner and a managing partner in GrassRoots Promotion, a radio promotion and music marketing company. In addition to her cantorial work at Temple B’nai Israel, Nancy is a “keynote cantor” delivering motivational speeches punctuated by original cantorial music. Her primary presentation is titled “Songs For The Unsung,” and is a tribute to the Christian rescuers of Jews during the Holocaust. This moving multi-media event incorporates photos, music and words to encourage conscience and courage. “Songs For The Unsung” motivates, inspires and entertains.     Hey there! I want to thank you for helping make my Debut album such a success. I am so excited about the future, not only with my singing, but my songwriting.

    I will be singing Wednesday, May 6, at the Presidents Reception of the West TN Strawberry Festival in Humboldt, TN. I will sing a couple of songs starting at 5:30pm. This reception is located at the Humboldt General Hospital Conference Center. This event is open to the public this year. I would like to extend you an invitation at attend.
