  • Fireside

    Fireside

The glowing embers of cedar fill the night with warmth

Crackling chips snap and pop sounds of natures call

    The air performing her dance

Flames that compose there own melody of peace

Each in tune with the soft whisper of the movement of the nights wind

Scented silence surrounds her as her spiritual dance enters into the essence of life so shall she flicker until man and nature call her to her dance once again

  • NEW POEM "Dreams"

    Dreams

The dew that lies upon the lilies of the field in the morning's early splendor

My love, so long has it been since I felt your flesh against my lips

Like a parched eagle searching for renewed freshness in the purity of the water of the mountains cool stream

Yet, my thirst is quenched when I find you in my dreams

The scent of the lavender lingers in the still of the night air it reminds me of our love and I know that you are there

In dreams I embrace you once again

Still we're filled with eternal passionate warmth

Your lips still as sweet as that of the honeysuckle

My heart beats fiercely for thee

What man will ever compare to the man that I love and still hold deep within my bosom

As we press our hearts against each others inward souls

Oh my sweet one to have known your intimacy is knowing the hearts yearning of the soul which leaves me with the reason why we have been given our dreams

  • Mary Elisabeth's poetry.

    Imperfect

Carry me father to the far away sea

Blow me in the wind, like the leaves off a tree

Plant me in a meadow amongst butterflies and sun

Than we can show the world what you have done

Let me climb the mountain to see the valley

So we can help others through the valleys below

I want to hear singing from birds and from man

You gave there melodies which some others can't hear or understand

    Spirit Wings

Delicate and swift you guide me in my dreams

Blissful moments inexpressible pleasures a world all of my own

    Where wishes come true

Feelings of happiness stay lingering in my mind

Sweetly floating with the clouds through the starry night

Like the delicate feathers of a hummingbirds wings

I go many places and do many things

In heavenly places where angels meet with man

    Misfit

I seek to hide my face from the impossible

I wake to a world where the innocence of the world is stripped from it's youth

A misfit to many my eyes seek to find beauty in the earths boundless spirit!

To find my place amongst her eternal flow of life!

    Yet, I am bound

My feet gravitated to the murky mud that keeps my physical being from becoming free

My spirit wrestles to free itself from the mire

I am sure that I am not alone

I feel the presence of others

Yet not one is close enough to embrace me and call me freedoms door
