    LoveDevotionBand - Even written songs: acoustic, a little bit latin, also funky, sometimes lyrical or ballads-like. The lyrics are in German and in English, act from love, devotion, dramas, God, silence. Composer and writer of the lyrics is WOLFGANG HARM. The band gets on as a temporary music project. In this respect the status will change with the time and with the development of new songs steadily. Up to now I have produced neither good studio tracks, nor commercial CD's. Now, some few live appearances there has already been. But the live presentation does not have the first priority, rather the creation of new songs stands in the foreground. I’m recording the newer songs, by the way, only at home, so actually the sound isn’t perfect. I make guitar, bass, vocals and programming of the drum sounds same. PLEASE, USE A HEADPHONE, IF YOU HEAR MY SONGS, BECAUSE THE SOUND WILL BE BETTER ! AND IF YOU LIKE, YOU CAN USE MY SONGS FOR YOUR OWN PERFORMANCE (COPYRIGHTS BY WOLFGANG HARM).   • Influences

    The songs have arisen from the fullness of my ripe life - with all his joys and dramas. My musical history started, when I was 12 years old, on a "traveling guitar". I had the first appearances as a rock guitarist and bassist at the age of 16 years. And since that time I have appeared with the most different bands. The style directions were very varied: Rock, jazz, funk, latin, jazz rock, pop, soul, ballads etc.. I have tried during earlier years to earn money with the music what I managed, indeed, temporarily, but was also laborious beside all joy. Today in this respect I get on rather than a respectable amateur's musician; I earn my money with social work. And, nevertheless, I know that the life has given me a wonderful talent: my musical creativity. I love to develop melodies, to harmonize them and to add singable words from my poetic heart. I thank to the musicians involved in some songs sincerely for her inspired engagement.

  • Sounds Like

    My songs can be maybe arranged to the category "Songwriter's music". The single pieces I’m developing without exception on a classical guitar to which I also write the song melody and the lyrics in the same operation. I complement bass lines as well as ideas for the groove then in the second working step. Afterwards the test of the songs with my comusicians occurs only in the practise room. The instruments of the band are filled with the classical guitar in the foreground plus E-Bass, percussion, drums and keyboard; all this is oriented quite basically in the acoustic sound. With some older songs Ines Marie Jaeger (vocals) is involved. She is a qualified singer and actress (www.ladytramp.de). I myself sing the newer songs.
