  • Bio

V.A.I.N. which stands for Verbal Assault Is Nasty, was appropriately donned the acronym for his lyrical wordplay, unique flow and his mastery of the craft. Hailing from the Eastside of Queens, New York. V.A.I.N. has been destined for success since he entered the hip-hop game as an artist more than 10 years ago. Early on his career, he performed in local talent showcases and produced his first rap CD Street Krisis which sold over 5000 street units in Queens, he then dropped a mixtape called the hellraiser which was mixed by pf cuttin, while simultaneously collaborating with local hip-hop artists and musicians, supplying them with musical direction, tracks and lyrics. However, it was V.A.I.N.’s passion for Hip-Hop and love of music that impelled him to hone his lyrical skills to a level where he could take his streetwise rap to the greater hip-hop community. Spitting hit after hit, V.A.I.N. has mastered the lyrical balance of wittingly passing social commentary, charismatic pontification and poetic story telling. A star in the making, V.A.I.N’s rhythmic flows can be heard on such mixtapes as Gutta Muzic, Watts and pf cuttin, dropping ill freestyles like “Borrowed Hope,” “Where do I go,” “Change Gonna Come,” and hit singles like “How we roll,” “All the good girls” “Tropics,” “My name is Vain,” “Prison Visit” and “Mommy Got a Hard Life.” V.A.I.N has also opened for legendary Hip- Hop artists DMX, Fabolous, Foxy Brown, Cassidy, and the Clips; and worked with some of the industry’s most sought after producers, Teflon, P.F. Cuttin, Terrence Dudley, Jelly Roll, Soul Diggers and Fingers. Vain has colaborated with Babs Bunney, Lil ‘Mo Slim from 112and Jim Jones. He has also been featured in Hip-Hop showcases all over New York City, and has accumilated over 2000 spins on major radio.
