Studied jazz improvisation with American pianistJoAnne Brackeen in New York during the 80´s and came back to Brazil to play,record and produce for many Brazilian singers and songwriters like MarisaMonte, Elba Ramalho, Moraes Moreira and also with foreigners visiting Brazillike Steve Hackett, Georges Moustaki, George Martin and Chuck Berry.

Since middle 80´s has his own soundtrack creation andproduction company and during 1995/1997 went to Britain to achieve an AdvancedDiploma in Film and Television Music.

For almost 30 years has been creating music for fullfeatured films, short movies, tv shows, ids and commercials, corporate videosand documentaries spanned around the world including USA, Europe and Japan.

Works as musician, arranger and producer in Japansince 1998 mainly with Japanese singer Miyazawa Kazufumi, but also with manyother local artists in J pop, soundtracks, latin jazz and even avant gardeplayers.

Located in Rio de Janeiro, Fernando has his own soundtrack and pre production studio which is fitted with an acoustic grand piano Yamaha C2 and a vast collection of keyboards including real vintage MiniMoog, Prophet 5, OB-Xa and Oberheim Xpander among many others working in perfectconditions thru quality outboard gear like SSL XLogic, Neve, Neumann and Apogee.
