Biography

Hi,

    My name is Damian Skrzyński. I have been interested in music since I was a child, as a young boy I began composing simple tracks, and really enjoyed it, even then I felt my life would be dedicated to music. Sounds are mysterious, they provide the energy that I need to live, they make my life colourful and special, I believe Victor Hugo once said, „Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and cannot remain silent”.

    Emotions that sleep deeply inside me, in my heart, Love, Loneliness, Despair, Longing, the feelings that create or ruffle our silent lives. Music gives me the kind of freedom I need to escape from the harsh reality of life, It gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything ...

    I like to compose different genres of music though rock is my favourite, the idea to release my first album came to mind when something strange happened to me and I felt a great urge to express my feelings over it, some artists do this by using colours or perhaps shapes, my medium is sound …

    In 2008, I decided to join myspace, create a music page and share my music with others, I was really impressed when so many people wrote to me expressing their enjoyment of my tracks .Music - making gives me hope for better world, „Music can change the world because it can change people” (Bono, U2).
