Welcome aboard the rollercoaster known as "Parenthood". There's always more ups than downs, and just when you think you got it sussed, the track changes. But it's the best fun you'll ever have!!
My only advice is sleep as much as you can, and don't miss a second cos the early years seem to go by so fast!! Then you get broody for another one ;)

I told my son that if Santa brings Yuck's snotman for him (he will ;-)), then he's not to read it on his own cos I want to read it with him!! I wish we'd had these kinda books when I was a kid - so much more up my street than the Famous Five!!

Now how could I resist a book with the title Yuck's Supercool Snotman!! My son's gonna love that. I did have a quick look in Waterstones when I was in there yesterday - they are decidedly low in stocks of your books.
Either they're selling real fast or you need to have a word with them!! Looks like I'm off to WHSmith or Amazon at any rate!
